A Special First Mother's Day

We spent my very first mother's day introducing Ella to her Great-Grandma Betty (David's grandmother). Grandma Betty has been singing, playing piano, and playing guitar on small and large scales for many, many years now . . . . thus Ella's incredible love for music made it love at first site between the two.






Great-Grandma Betty got to feed Miss Ella breakfast, while Mommy got to sleep in for the first time in 8 months (Horray!)

Then there was lots and lots of fun playtime.

And then there was MUSIC . . . And MORE MUSIC . . . .

AND MORE MUSIC . . . .

Ella was dancing and bouncing all over the house every time Grandma would play and sing! (Videos to come)

Then we took a bath in Grandma's very big tub to get ready for the Mother's Day brunch and Ella loved laughing at her clean self in Grandma's big bathroom mirror -- she was squealing and and touching her reflection over and over.

We had a beautiful drive over to the mansion where the mother's day brunch was held - we all really enjoyed it!

After the brunch we stopped by the creator of Mother's Day's birthplace to take a quick picture of my first Mom's Day with my precious little peanut!









So much excitement and full bellies = SLEEEPY!!!

Back at Grandma's house we took advantage of a cute outfit to take a few pictures of Ella.
