Ella's New Room -- A Little Set Back

One day (before Audrey entered the world) we were finishing up breakfast and Ella decided to go play up in her room while we cleaned up the dishes/kitchen.  Did I mention we were still finishing the painting? Well Daddy had accidentally left a container of paint and a paint brush up the room and after several minutes of complete silence (which in our house is NEVER a good sign) we went upstairs and found this . . . .

Ella (surprisingly with paint only on her hands) was holding the paintbrush and saying over and over, "It's so beautiful mommy -- Ella painted so beautiful!!"

Actually, not a bad job for a 2 year old huh? Well Daddy set to work cleaning the THICK paint off the wall and was able to wipe most of it off. The rest we touch painted over again. Let's just say that morning was not as productive as we had originally planned!

Unfortunately - you can't be mad at such a cute little stinker painter. :)
