Apparently the tradition in David's family has always been to hunt the entire week of Thanksgiving. Although I've been told of this since before we were married, this is the very first opening day of hunting David has participated in since I have met him. We traveled north to the locally famous "Grafton Farm" to bring home some venison for the freezer and see a beautiful Winter snow at the same time. Here are some of the beautiful views.

Our little snow bunny was quite warm in her bear snow suit. But her nose and cheeks did get rosy so we didn't stay outside for very long.

Luckily for us - David was able to bring home a deer. Unluckily for us he also fell out of a tree stand and roughed himself up quite a bit (he's all healed now thank goodness). But since we were leaving early we decided to bring home something else from the farm as well.

Ella's first CHRISTMAS TREE!
