Take a Hike

Finally, the snow has melted and the temperature has warmed up enough for all of us to go out and get a little vitamin D. So we packed up Ella and headed across the street to the Wildlife Management Area to take a little walk.
Ella had an absolute blast. We started out walking through a bunch of overhanging rhododendron bushes -- every time Daddy would dip around the leaves, Ella would burst into laughter. We have never heard her laugh quite so hard. She was bouncing all around and having the time of her life.

We hiked down to a stream and sat listening to its peaceful babbling while Cobb raced around, apparently very glad to be free from the house for a little while as well.

Ella used up so much energy on our little trip that she slept most of the hike back to the car and was out like a sack of potatoes that night as well!
