This year was my family's turn for Thanksgiving get together. As Darin and Steph (and family) plan on moving to Africa sometime in 2010, we all decided to meet up there this year for everyone to see their new home and visit them before they move away.
Ella was an angel for the flight over -- she loved watching out the window at all the trees, houses, cars, and clouds.
Landing was especially exciting!
We had a blast playing will all (6 in total) grandkids together in the back yard. Ella loved the slide and played with cousin Jessye climbing up and sliding down over and over again (not to mention running around the yard in huge circles going nowhere in particular).
They also enjoyed a little Baby Einstein together.
We played many games together. . .

And read a lot of books as well (this was a new one from Nana and it is still a hit around our house).
We watched a few movies together.

Lots of presents .... a little taste of how we roll during Christmas gift time.
And had a lovely picnic in the back yard. . . .

We spent one afternoon walking to the park. The little ones had a nice wagon ride.

But I think Ella's favorite part was being able to splash in the tub every night with cousin Jessye (actually Jess clearly thought Ella was a bit to wild in the tub, and it was primarily Ella splashing, but it was a fun time just the same).
