Some good friends of ours (David and Wayne were friends in college and Marie and I have bonded through motherhood on facebook) came down for a weekend full of fun. A 2 month old, a 10 month old, a 2.5 year old, a 3 year old, and 4 adults = a full house and lots of fun.

These two girls, although worn out, were so excited to be having a slumber party that it took quite a while to get everyone to sleep. BUT after a few extra potty trips, a move into the bed, one more drink of water, and a firm, "Now, it's time to STAY IN BED.", they really had a fun time.

In the end, we didn't get to "go and do" as much as we had hoped because of the torrential downpour the night and morning before they arrived, but we still had a great time with lots of laughs and plenty of little girl and baby fun! We will have to get together with them again soon because Ella now says, "Emily is my best friend, Mommy." :) As soon as our friends left, Ella crashed hard and took a very long nap -- which means she had a GREAT time!
