Duckin Out to the Outer Banks

We don't have too much time left for family vacations per say before we have a tiny baby to take along with us as well - SO, we decided to use a CE (continuing education) weekend to have a little fun time away. Brianna had a meeting in Duck, NC - The Outer Banks region and so we rented a house and had Nana come and stay the few days with us as well.

Here is the "little" place we rented - which was actually cheaper than 2 hotel rooms.

And a few ocean-side pictures. I (Brianna) actually never even was able to see the beach because my time off was either too hot or too rainy, but Ella had some fun anyway.

While we were there, David took us to tour the Kitty Hawk museum (place of first official flight). Ella was feeling very silly and playing peek-a-boo in her stroller.

Apparently, somewhere there is a picture of this same sweet guy next to this monument (actual place of the first official flight) as a young boy. Someday I will find that picture and scan it in for comparison.

PEEK-A-BOO!!!
