Play - Doh

We have recently started playing with play doh -- as you can see Ella is a big fan.


- Pros:
1. 30 min - 1 hr of her sitting in a chair concentrating on one activity
2. She is so creative and thinks of all kinds of things to make (& has Mommy help with some)
3. Practicing colors and numbers and letters when we punch them out with the cookie cutters

- Cons:
1. Apparently I liked to keep things separate as a child because it bothers me when Ella mixes up the colors (I'm trying to get over this sillyness)
2. Spending a good deal of time getting little bits of play doh out of all the cookie cutters, rolling pin, etc.
3. Tiny bits of colored doh ALL OVER THE KITCHEN as she also likes to fling the stuff
