An Apply Kind of Weekend

The day after Ella's birthday, the whole family headed north to the Grafton farm for a couple days of yummy apple butter and apple cider making. I didn't get any pictures of the apple butter this year because Grandma was watching Ella and I could actually help this year! But here are some neat ones of the cider making. We bring as many gallons home as possible and drink it hot and cold all year round. Ella especially loved the "juice" making this year and kept her own little cup so she could keep sampling the cider as it was made to make sure it was just right.

We look forward to our apply weekend every year, and this year the weather was great, many people came, and Ella had a fantastic time. Every time we take a drive up 77 she now asks if we are "Going to the farm?"
