Another Weekend in May

One fine weekend in May, we decided to go visiting around to David's West Virginia family and friends. (I'm pretty sure this one is out of chronological order, but I just found the pictures in a file today and well - better late than never).

First Stop . . . .

Grandad and Grandma Idleman in Elkview (Charleston), WV
This trip was particularly difficult because Ella wasn't quite into listening well and Grandad and Grandma's house is FULL of breakable and dangerous things and places. Whew . . . . makes me tired again just thinking about it.




Stop #2 - We spent an afternoon with David's best friend in WV - Mike Smith and took a long walk around his property. On the walk Daddy introduced Ella to sassafras leaves (which taste great to chew on) and she thought that was the best thing ever. In fact, we had to stop several times to get her a new leaf.



Final Stop . . . .
Grandma Betty in Morgantown, WV

Ella particularly loves going to visit Grandma Betty because she has a beautiful Clavanova that she can play, OR it can play background music to dance to, OR Grandma Betty can play us many a song to sing and dance to.

Happy as a Lark (singing just like one too)

AND Grandma Betty has a fabulous jacuzzi bath tub that is always a highlight of the trip.

WHAT A PEANUT --- I love this girl!
