Winston-Salem Airshow

Ella has always loved airplanes much like her daddy, so we wanted to take her back to the Winston-Salem Airshow this year. David's cousin Jonathan has friends with access into the general aviation side of the airport. We met up with him and sat at the very end of the runway under a nice big shady tree. A perfect spot for watching the airplanes - the only issue was this particular spot was quite loud when the planes would rush over. At first the noise terrified Ella and she clung on to me for dear life, but she quickly became used to the noise and only had to stand next to me or be in my lap when they flew over. Here are a few pictures we took.

She even took a nice nap while we watched the more quiet parts of the show. All in all a great day out!
